PROGRAM BENEFITS

Private Seminars – Asset Management and Risk Assessment is Conservation

Who manages your art?

Do you have an inventory?
Is it securer an it walk out with staff leaving?
Is it depreciating under poor light? Cleaners knocking it?
Do you have a disaster plan?
What happens if the sprinklers go off? Do you know who to call?
Do you have chain of custody pre arranged with your insurer so wet art doesn’t become mouldy art?
Do you know your roles and responsibilities if you sell pieces are?

If you answer NO to any of these question or if you are spending more on the company pot plant care than your art assets you need CorporART Care.

We assess work pre purchase, look at the standard of framing and need requirements for each work by managing lighting levels and display standards for art and sculpture in your collection. Do not let cleaners remove bronze patina or use spray and wipe glass. Do not have art framed and under fluroesent lights without making sure it is done to real archival standards, not just marketing standards. There is no degree to be a framer, but there is to be a conservator. We have a laboratory to be able to care for and repair and carry out most treatments and we have the connections and logistics experience to courier work around the world, with our partnering businesses.

Membership comes with collection assessment, on call emergency services, for the collection and disaster planning for the collection. We assist in inventories and accessioning. we create a photographic record for off site storage, for security and insurance. Without which you can’t even report a theft. True condition should not be a guess or left to a connoisseur. Condition should be based in science. Many works also have inherent hazards, lead paint cadmium, asbestoes and other hazards. We can test and evaluate the risks for OH&S and handling, storage and display parameters for historic items.

Our staff have been responsible for the collections at the National Gallery The National Museum of Australia, the Australian War Memorial and have decades of experience providing high end services and investment advice for collectors and corporations.

We are not historians or curators, but chemistry trained conservators with experience caring for our National collection here and disaster response abroad in UNESCO sites.
Our program will co-ordinate with your Directors, boards OR designated staff (office manager) to ensure your assets appreciate rather than depreciate.
Monthly Calls

Our senior conservators will be available to discuss any concerns or issues with your collection.

PLUS MORE!

Discounts on Disaster Planning and Conservation Needs Assessments

Endangered Heritage has over 30 years combined experience in assessing collections to an international level and for our own national collections. A conservator can independently organise condition reports, disaster plan and kits, plus all the necessary documentation to ensure you are across your asset. Usually, this planning augments other in-house documentation and assists building managers and your insurance broker to reduce your insurance policy costs.

Iconic Conservation

Endangered Heritage is actively seeking corporate sponsorship to support our sector. Around our country, art and museum collections everywhere have ICONIC works in need of care. The Iconic Conservation program allows companies to align with some of the best our collections have to offer. From around the country collection custodians can nominate artefacts requiring treatment, conservation services or material support for their collection. By sponsoring work of your choice, not only will your brand will go on their icon but you will receive a written report and marketing material of the community project you supported.

Inventory: Do you know what you have???

Works walk. Through relocations, staff, public access and after-hours access, works do walk straight out the door and no one knows or makes a claim. Often it is near impossible to improve you owned what you owned. Without an illustrated inventory you have an unrecorded asset with no security from theft, fire, flood or any insurance claim.

Analytical Services

In a workplace we must consider workplace health and safety! Artwork can be toxic and contain asbestos, lead paint cadmium and even radioactive issues. We offer our members analytical testing/ Raising the problem is one thing, fixing the problem is another. Putting work behind glazing and recommending cleaning of corrosion like green Verdigris is also an option. In short, we keep you aware of the issues in your collection to keep you and your team safe.

Crisis Support

Disasters can strike any time 24/7. We get that and we care! Members will be given a direct number to contact our team any time day or night to help when something has cataclysmic has gone wrong. Our Director is on the International ICORP committee and on the Australian and New Zealand committee and is certified by CENVP as an environmental and heritage expert.

Endangered heritage will organise freight and logistics, crating or other containment for travelling items from artists, auction houses locally or overseas. Our professional art handlers will ensure NOTHING is damaged in transit and your investment arrives safely. Accounts and payments will be direct to keep this as cost effective as possible.
